I've recently decided to take a semester off grad school and head south. I want to spend about a month in a language school. So, I made it to Costa Rica (for those of you who don't know, I am spending the next couple months working on organic farms through WWOOF). I'm from Texas and will be visiting San Diego and Tijuana soon. I read the listings on HappyCow.net, but was wondering if anyone had further advice on vegan dining in tijuana. I've never been to Mexico, and don't know what to expect as far as food provisions go. Thanks!

I am going to be staying near Dominical in Costa Rica for 10 days in june - i've never been there before.  We will be staying in a house sort of in the mountains, not at a resort or hotel, and actually NONE of us have ever been there before, so I have no idea on ANY levels, what to expect.  Do any of you have advice for the best ways to eat vegan ( Read more... )
